Beep8 is a retro javascript game library that is inspired by the 8-bit home computers of the 1980’s. It is designed to be simple to use and easy to learn, making it a great choice for beginners and experienced developers alike.

Beep8 is based on QX82 by Bruno Oliveira, licensed under the MIT License.

Ben Gillbanks is a web developer from the UK. He blogs on his personal website Binary Moon.

Ben has been building things for the web since the late 90’s. He has worked on a wide range of projects including games, interactive installations, and websites. He spent 11 years working at the online games site, Miniclip.com about half of this time spent as Director of Web Development overseeing a team of 20+ developers. He has spoken at WordCamp London, and been featured on WordPress podcasts, and in Web Design Magazines. He knows his beans.
